So lately I've been going to put on my shoes and finding one by the front door, and one like, stuffed under the bed or somewhere equally far away. And I think . . . how the hell did these shoes get on opposite sides of the house? I mean, the only way I can think of it that I kicked one off when I came home, and then walked around the house with only one shoe on until eventually I removed the other. But I don't have any memory of walking around one-shoed. You'd think that's something you'd remember. Do these things happen to anyone else? |

November 17, 2003 05:53 PM Gnomes, I guess. Or else . . . my husband and I frequently talk about our imaginary dog. Maybe we've imagined him enough that he is beginning to actually manifest into reality . . . you can't see him, but he can exert just enough ethereal force if he puts his doggy mind to it to drag shoes around.

November 17, 2003 07:53 PM No, I think it's the Shoe Gnomes. Two or three of them at a time gather up a shoe and go have sloppy, kinky adventures in it in another room, where it's more private....somewhere the imaginary dog isn't staring at them while they do it...
