Well, Day 1 of SD2, and nothing's exploded yet. The fun scripts down below seem to be working WAY better than the crappy crawl applet at the top of my old site ever did. Now if I can just get the comments window to close when you click "submit" . . . and automatically refresh the main page immediately thereafter, if that's not asking so very much . . . Ah, well. All in good time. Here are some of the "credits" for this new website: Eternal love to Christine for telling me that I could, and that I should. And for making it possible with her advice, her fabulous hosting business, and her Mad MT Setup Skillz. All the graphics are mine (created from scratch or bought and paid for), except of course for the link graphics on the left, and the Sacred Chao in the lower right-hand corner. The Sacred Chao is eternally Kopylefted by the Godess of Chaos (All Rights Reversed). All colors replicated at this website are actually found in nature (except possibly the green links in the comments popup). Design inspiration comes - in spirit - from The City of Lost Children, Brazil, and the space-ship control room of every early-nineties CD-ROM fantasy-sci-fi adventure game. |
